History
Dave's Lanes was built in 1946 by Dave and Evelyn Ritger. It was a family owned and operated business with their 4 sons, Dick, Robert (Bobby), Dave Jr. (Butch) and John. Bobby and his wife Judy purchased Dave's Lanes in 1964. They had 2 children, Jeff and Jeni. Then in 1983, Bob and Judy sold Dave's Lanes to their son Jeff and Bob's brother John. In January of 2019, Jeff passed away.
So now, after 75 years in the Ritger family, on January 12, 2022, John sold Dave's Lanes to the current owners, Mike Krusing and Dan Quill.
A little about Mike - I grew up in the Hubertus area. I’ve been bowling at Dave's Lanes for 25 years on various leagues and shifts as has my business partner, Dan. I live in Hartford with my fiancé, and her two boys.
Dan has similar experiences with Dave's Lanes: I also grew up in the Hubertus area and attended Hartford Union High School where Mike and I became friends. We bowled in various leagues throughout the years and got to know Jeff and John Ritger in this way. Currently, I reside in Slinger with my wife, and two sons (who are also in some of the bowling leagues at Dave's Lanes).
We look forward to seeing you all soon. We are proud that John has sold us the business that he and his family built and we will do our best to keep the traditions and culture alive that has made Dave's so great for all these years!
